上週(2012/12/7)出席教育部頂尖大學發表會(優秀相對論。頂尖基礎力http://ad.cw.com.tw/ad/cw/2012basic/index.html)，會中教育部次長和幾所大學校長皆強調學術研究一定要和產業接軌，才不會浪費資源，做了些閉門造車的研究。不過此現象相信是會一直存在，因為問題可能會出在該如何與業界合作呢? 產業界要做的，教授們可能沒辦法發paper，沒辦法發paper，依現今的評鑑方式，也就很難拿到經費和升等，所以大家可能還是回頭往容易發表論文的方向進行。

其實有些現在做的題目，當前不受到矚目不代表未來沒人會用，個人認為最明顯、有名的例子就是Prof. S. M. Sze的floating gate概念了；此外，個人觀點歸納三種教授類型：

1.) 聰明有領導力型：這種往往會做出領先業界十年以上之研究。
